Deciduous Forest Diorama (Advanced)

Instructions

Materials:
• five diorama pages on card stock paper (forest background can be regular paper).
• shoe-box-sized box with top/side flaps cut off (leave bottom flap for forest floor).
• crayons or colored pencils
• scissors, glue stick
Instructions:
1) Color and then glue the background forest in the bottom (background) of your box. Color the forest floor.
2) Color animals and then cut them out on the dotted lines around them (and keeping base with their names).

For permanent diorama displays:
1) Fold under each animal flap and glue the animals on the diorama forest floor.

For free-standing animals that can be moved around your display:
1) Cut the vertical dotted line through the flap at the bottom.
2) Then cut out each animal base (below) and snip the dotted line down the center about 1/4 inch.
3) Slide the bases onto each animal so they sit perpendicular and hold the animals upright.
